Responsibility exemption for activities
There may be risks or losses in the participation of the activities listed on this site. These risks and potential losses include, but are not limited to:
(1) the conduct and statements of others, including but not limited to participants, volunteers, audiences, mentors, event specialists, speakers, staff, food and beverage suppliers or institutions providing venues, or CCTV surveillance systems and venue facilities;
(2) the potential risks arising from the venue hardware, including but not limited to the consequences of fire, facility damage or other emergencies;
(3) losses based on weather and / or other natural conditions;
(4) the expenses, accidents and losses arising from the carriage of any means of transport to and from the workshop or the venue;
(5) Participants' personal health status;
(6) The safety of personal belongings.
Participants must bear all the risks described above.
Sponsors and service volunteers participating in the event may use this disclaimer to clarify and waive the actions and responsibilities in the event.
Participants are to ensure they are physically fit in taking part in our events. In case of emergency, the participant will be sent to the nearest public hospital for treatment if the situation is deemed necessary.
Participants may be photographed in our workshops and events. Participants agree and permit their photographs, videos or portraits to be used by the event holder, producer, sponsor, organizer and / or assignee for any legitimate purpose.
From May 2017 onward, all workshops or events hosted at WeWork Hong Kong are required to adhere to their new security policy. Wix Hong Kong will be responsible to hand-in participants' name & email information to WeWork Hong Kong for security and recording purpose.
